Join us for our first annual Southern California LGBT Health Conference at the USC Health Sciences Campus in Los Angeles, California. Here, you will take part in the dynamic conversations on healthcare’s hottest issues, learn from health care leaders in the community, and engage in interactive workshops that will prepare you for the future of LGBT inclusive health care.
This year’s theme, “Coming out as an advocate,” emphasizes the role of visibility and need for training multidisciplinary teams to advocate for the health needs of the LGBT population. The increasing realization of health care through teams of public health, medical, pharmacy, dentist, and social work practitioners will draw a diverse community of students and professionals from various fields, institutions and communities across California to interact and build on an interdisciplinary approach to improving LGBT health.
